When you walk back towards the room and look to the left, you see a door that leads to the next room of this exhibition. Please proceed to the next room.

In the next room on your left, you see a section on the economy during the interwar period with the heading “Out of the Crisis … Into the Crisis”. In the middle of this section is a large wooden object—a clothes wringer. Left of it is a red Lego model of a building and above it a small white sign that says “Betteln und Hausieren verboten”, meaning “No begging”.
