Across the room from the large stairs and the campaign posters, you see a door that leads to the next exhibition room. Please go there.

In the next room, alongside the right wall there is an installation with many stations in chronological order. If you look up, you see lit-up numbers of a year. This audio guide refers to this installation repeatedly to help you navigate from station to station.

But for now, please turn to the left. Here you see a section called “Out of the Crisis… Into the Crisis” on the economy during the inter-war period. Walk along this section until its very last part. There you see a white text panel with the title “Economic Despair and Dictatorship?” Directly below it there is a reprint of a flyer of the “Hochalpenstraße”, a high alpine road.
